No matter the season or the place I find myself, it is my heart’s desire to encourage others to live enough. Through teaching, designing, and journeying with others I live out the command to love God and others. This is my offering to the Giver of all good gifts.

Spiritual Direction
Spiritual direction describes the ancient process of accompanying people in their spirtual journey toward freedom and peace. It is a ministry that supports the holy work of spiritual formation, and helps people connect with their sacred stories in their everyday living.
By definition of formal training, I’m new to this ministry, but it is a lifelong journey. Turns out I’ve been listening, joining, and guiding others on their spiritual journey for many years. God has woven all of it together to bring me to this place. A spiritual director who is passionate about walking with others on their journey. It’s my heart’s desire to listen in a way that allows others to enter the wide-open spaces of God’s loving presence.

Teaching & Writing
Most of what I write and teach is a sacred collaboration between two friends. We spend time sharing God’s work in our lives, encouraging each other to keep going in the midst of heartbreak. We write, and rewrite what God gives and send it soaring through the internet air.
A few years ago we joined forces and began the co-ownership of a small business that serves as home to our teaching ministry. You’ll find us there among the framing tools and embroidery machines talking and wrestling over teaching words. It’s the place we gather with others to grow and share God’s grace.

Creating
As God’s work of unfolding enough in me continues I am inspired to share it with you through the items I design. Creating and crafting is simply the outflow of God’s work in me. Each item is designed to encourage you to draw closer to God, and is accompanied by a way to dive deeper through on-line mini Bible courses and encouragement through my social media platforms. You are invited to explore the designs at Encouraging Faith and follow our small town shop Picture This! on facebook.
“Sometimes we can get stuck in our direction, our purpose, or even feel stuck in our relationship with God. Talking and working through “the stuck” with my spiritual director has allowed me to recognize and put words to past hurts and experiences that I didn’t realize were still affecting me today. It has helped me see that even in those instances God was there.“– Beth
Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’
